The Urban Policy Congress is the largest forum in Poland dedicated to exchange experiences and knowledge on national urban policy. The upcoming edition will present and discuss specific solutions for the actualized National Urban Policy, being the outcome of the expert groups’ work lasting several months.
The main theme of the congress will be supported by sessions dedicated to: environment and adaptation to climate change, housing and social policies, spatial management, economy and labour market, city and urban functional areas management, and transport and urban mobility. The congress will be enriched by modern discussion formulas. The event is strictly bound to World Urban Forum, that is scheduled for 2022 in Katowice.
The event is organized as national urban forum by Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy, and Institute of Urban and Regional Development.
Given the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic event will adopt a largely virtual format., probably with a recording studio in Katowice. The final form of the Congress will be announced in the spring.
